Coming to you soon........ We are booked in to markets from one end of Perth to the other and hope to make an impact in the non footy season. It has been frustrating waiting for our new range to be developed in time for Christmas sales. Every week it seems our aprons, Tees, sarongs are ready but there is one hitch after another. It does seem that the sarongs and bling thongs will arrive at any moment.

NEW HEART RANGE
Wear Your Heart On Your Sleeve is our theme the new pre-season collection. We are excited about our Tee with the heart logo embroidered on the sleeve. On a roll we then designed a frilly fem kitchen pinnie designed with the heart and “I wear my hear on my apron”.
But no summer wardrobe is complete without a sarong. The PG designers were in heaven – anchors, hearts, watery blue seas, eagles flying against a yellow sun and blue skies – and of course hand painted. “I wear my heart on my sarong” is written across each design
The design work for 2 of the sarongs. The sarongs
The design work for 2 of the sarongs. The sarongs will be 2m x 1.3m and made of top quality rayon.

FOOTY UP DATE
We are sad to say goodbye to so many senior warriors from our team but look forward to the rebuilding of the team with young, exciting, talented players who don’t carry the baggage of the past. Both teams in the west can only go up from here and all eyes will be on the draft. We are keeping our fingers crossed that we will be yelling “Go Nick Nat” next year.
BALI FASHION WEEK
The preparation we put into our trip for this event has really paid off as we made valuable contacts with manufacturers and had meetings lined up before we even arrived. We worked really hard for the 11 days developing new design ideas, meeting with a variety of manufacturers and having samples made.
One of the special things about working with Balinese people is the fact that everything is still made very much at a village level. An example of this is when having our aprons made we designed the fabric and it is being silk screened 15 metres at a time in a village setting. This is how all of our products are made -bit at a time in small quantities and in homes. Although this causes us frustrations and delays we are very happy to be helping Balinese families rather than using large factory production.
Our small anchor earrings being made in Celuk, Bali
We really enjoyed meeting the members of “The Link” (a group of 35 women who have small businesses in Bali) and we attended a fashion industry party with all the “beautiful people”. A photograph of us at the party was published in the social pages! So the Passion Girls made a mark in Bali.

Passion Girl - the business
Passion girl is an accessories, clothing and footwear business for women who follow the Australian rules football clubs based in Western Australia , the Fremantle Football Club (the Dockers) and the West Coast Eagles Football Club.
We love our footy and dress to express our passion. Our designs use the club colours and the club logos. These are the anchor for FFC and the eagle for WC.
We decided to create this range as we could not buy any fashionable accessories through the normal sources. We knew lots of women who felt the same as we did and it was clear there was a market for feminine, fun, trendy footy fashion.
Our vision was to create special pieces of jewellery at first and then a wider range of accessories as we developed our market. We started with a hand made sterling silver and amethyst anchor range for Dockers supporters and 12 months down the track we have expanded to a range of footwear, clothing and jewellery. Visit www.passiongirl.org to view most of our range.

The Passion Girls
Gabrielle and Peri all dressed up and ready to take on the Collingwood army at the Telstra Dome in 2004. The Dockers won the game and we had great fun slinging caustic comments the army's way. They took it in very well and hurled plenty back.
This was our first trip to Melbourne for the footy and we have gone over every year since except this year.
Last year we booked our tickets in January for the GF week just in case the Fremantle Football Club made it. Well it was fun to be around the "G" and the city centre during all the build up and during the match even tho we didn't make inside the "G" and neither did our boys. We dream of that day to come sometime in the not too distant future.
